Cynthia Ellis Rosen is Of Counsel with Davis & Santos. Born in Ciudad Juárez, Mexico, Cynthia was raised in a small southeast Texas town and earned her bachelor’s degree in Spanish Literature from the University of Texas at Austin in 1993. In 2002, Cynthia joined Matthews and Branscomb, P.C. where she practiced commercial litigation. She then gained experience in federal disability claims at Heard & Smith, LLP. In 2008, Cynthia began practicing at Strasburger & Price, LLP where she represented contractors, owners, design professionals, and suppliers in a range of lawsuits. Her varied litigation experience throughout South Texas includes complex commercial litigation, construction defect, employment discrimination, personal injury, product liability and probate disputes. Prior to joining Davis & Santos, she maintained a solo practice.
Cynthia has lectured on a variety of topics including construction agreements, social media in the workplace, and employer/employee relationships. Cynthia served for several years on the board of directors of the San Antonio Bar Association Construction Law Section and was recognized as a Super Lawyer Rising Star in Construction Litigation by Thomson Reuters. She currently serves as the President of the Board of Directors of the San Antonio Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation.
