Guillermo “Jeff” Benavides is an associate with Davis & Santos. Jeff’s practice areas include complex business litigation and financial institution litigation.

Before graduating from law school, Jeff interned with firms in San Antonio concentrating in the area of oil and gas. During these internships, Jeff acquired an understanding of oil and gas contracts and title work. Jeff also worked extensively on a publication titled “New Oil and Old Laws: Problems in Allocation of Production to Owners of Non-Participating Royalty Interests in the Era of Horizontal Drilling.” Benjamin Holliday, New Oil and Old Laws: Problems in Allocation of Production to Owners of Non-Participating Royalty Interests in the Era of Horizontal Drilling, 44 ST.
